Improved acoustical fidelity
With the transition from passive to active speakers another advantage has come to the surface which is the improvement of the acoustical fidelity. Instead of an external amplifier having to drive the different speaker-units now each speaker-unit has its own dedicated amplifier thus guaranteeing you a perfectly optimized combination.
One more advantage is the build-in Digital-Signal-Processor unit so the digital signal remains digital until the last possible moment where it is converted into an analogue signal to drive the speaker-units thus giving you the best possible acoustical fidelity for your musical listening pleasures, time after time.

All three speaker units are actively driven by three powerful amplifiers, carefully chosen from the Hypex nCore range of models. The voicing of the two mid-woofer units with one another is done by way of an active crossover which is based on a meticulously programmed Digital Signal Processor, also from Hypex.
